How To Cook Oysters On The Grill

Of the above mentioned mix over the oysters. Set your burner to medium high heat cover your grill and let cook for 5 10 minutes. Close the grill and let the oysters cook for about 5 minutes. Transfer opened oysters to a platter discard any that do not open.
Cook for another 30 seconds if needed. Cook the oysters for approximately 3 minutes on the grill. Check them after this time. It s better to undercook the oysters than overcook them.
Oysters are done when their shells open. If you can t shuck place the oysters cup side up on a very hot preheated grill cover and cook for 1 minute. Like clams or other shellfish oysters can get a little rubbery if you let them cook too long. Shuck the oysters spoon a little sauce in each oyster.
