How To Clean Vomit Out Of Carpet

To remove more difficult vomit stains make a solution of 2 cups water 0 5 cup white vinegar 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon dish soap or laundry detergent and 2 tablespoons rubbing alcohol.
Sprinkle the area with an absorbent substance like a commercial carpet deodoriser salt or baking powder and leave for 10 to 15 minutes to lift vomit from the fibres. Let the water stand for 30 seconds. Then cover the remaining stain with baking soda or cornstarch and let it sit for 15 minutes which will help dry up the excess moisture. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before vacuuming.
How to remove vomit from carpet using baking soda. Pets and young kids often do not know where to vomit sometimes controlling a vomit becomes difficult for an adult too as accidents can and do happen. Then sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch on the stain to soak up as much puke as possible. Apply to the stain using a spray bottle or sponge until the carpet is damp but not wet.

After 15 minutes run a vacuum over the area. You might go over a lot of towels just to make sure that there will be no moisture 2 left. Place the towel over the baking soda for as long as you are away from the area. Repeat until no more stain is transferred onto the cloth.
