How To Curve Text In Design Space

Ungroup letters select your text and ungroup your letters.

Drag the slider to the right to curve the text downward. First open up cricut design space. Just write the text for one line of text that you want to curve at a time. I chose a diameter of 10 793 but you can play with this setting to get the curve appropriate for your project.

Use the curve tool in design space to easily bend your text into a circular shape. Design space will take a few moments to analyze your text for size and spacing then display a slider and a number field. Click on the curve tool. You can curve up or down.

Then click on shapes at the bottom and then on circle. The curve tool can be found in the text edit bar at the top of the canvas between the align ment and advanced tools. Move the slider to the right to curve your text. Make sure you have selected your text and then click on curve in the tool box at the top of your canvas.

Design space uses an imaginary circle to determine the curvature of the text. Select the line of text text blocks that have multiple lines can t be curved only single lines then click on the curve tool. If you the text not as curved as the sphere click on unlock and then drag the arrows to make it oval. Select the text tool and type in the est.

Center this into the middle area adjust the size of the text. Curving text in design space must be done on a computer or laptop. Open design space and create a new canvas. Type out the text you d like to curve.

Note the number in the diameter field as you drag the slider. The apple and android apps don t support the curve tool yet. Click on the text icon and type the word beach. Select both the word and the circle and click on edit and then align and then center horizontally.
