Cut the sides of the short ends straight and glue them. Place the cover onto the paper and press into place. Lay the fabric on a table with the back side up. In some of the steps it was a little dificult for me to explain exactly how i do my english is far from perfect sorry p but i think that the photos show it pretty well.

Cut the sides of the wallpaper. Cut another piece the same way. Lift the top flap of the box and lightly brush glue onto the box cover. Cut 2 rectangular pieces of fabric that are slightly larger than the bottom of the box.

Fold the edges inside of the box. It s helpful to have an extra set of hands for this part thanks todd when trying to get the pieces squared up. Cut the rectangle out of the fabric. Cover the top accordingly.

Repeat the process to cover the bottom of the box. Flip the lid over and smooth the paper with your palms. Next glue the long sides. At the corners cut into the fabric to make vertical slits that will allow you to fold the paper down.

Match up your panels so that the sides are between the front and back panels with sheets of wax paper underneath to catch any extra glue. Use your fingertips to press the excess paper down onto the sides of the lid use scissors to snip off the flap of paper that sticks out at each corner or simply fold the flap to the left or right. You now have a box to store whatever you want. Use a ruler to add an extra 1 inch 2 5 cm on each side of the fabric.

We ll be making a good sized fabric box and you can make it any size or design you want. Place the box on top of it and trace around the bottom. So watch if you want to le. Leave the short ends long enough to fold up and over the sides with a slightly longer overhang about 1 1 2 to 2 inches in this example it s about 3 4 inches total.
