How To Clean Dried Grout Off Tile

It should be easy to clean up tile haze with basic gentle astringents such as a drop of mild dish washing soap in a gallon of warm water or a spray bottle filled with the standard straight vinegar.
Fill an empty spray bottle with hot water. For stubborn grout haze mop the floor with a mixture of 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. Saturate the grout residue spots with the water. Once the tile is clean and has no more hardened grout wipe over with a damp cloth and leave to dry.
Inspect the tile to make sure all dried grout is gone. As you scour keep the pad wet with plenty of water. Step 2 scrape as much of the dried grout from the tile with a wooden stick. Vinegar won t leave any residue behind which some harsher detergents can be known to do on tile.

Rinse the tile with clean water. Wet the grout that remains with clean water and scour the surface of the tile with a damp nylon scouring pad.
