Move the block horizontally across the tire until you reach the right side of the rim. The lug spins freely but won t come off the stud. Center of the hub should have a depressed area where the puller s center bolt can be places. Drill through the lug and or stud.
Usually it will come off after the first couple of whacks and won t require rotating the tire but for very stubborn tires you may also need to rotate. Pound the right side of the wheel with the block and hammer. Spread generous amounts of soap around and underneath it. Use your foot to hit the tire while it is off the ground.

With continuous effort the wheel should separate from the hub and you can then comfortably remove it after unscrewing the last bolt. Press the block against the rim and tire and hit the middle of the block with your hammer. Give the tire a couple of good whacks outward. After jacking off the tire remove the bolts except one.

Rotate the wheel and hit it with a kick. Then clip the jaws on the outer edge of the drum and tighten the center bolt until the drum breaks free. With the car on the lift and the lugs removed now reinstall the lug nuts leaving about five turns before they start to get snug. Select a carbide drill bit that matches the size of your stud.
